The title of the blog is inspired by Ricky Martin’s 1999 hit, Livin’ La Vida Loca (Livin’ the Crazy Life) – somehow it seems fitting. Conveniently enough, ‘roca’, the Spanish word for rock, rhymes with ‘loca’, Spanish for crazy,…hmmm…coincidence? You decide, as we cling to cliffs and dangle from our digits, bouncing through South America, livin’ la vida roca (livin’ the rock life).

La Ola, Argentina Video

We camped in a farmers field which was surrounted by small sports climbing crags. The farmer cooked us fresh bread in his wood fire oven and we lapped up the excellent sport climbing.
